8th Grade: Yearbook Ad Sales

posted Nov 19, 2018, 12:09 PM by James Falletti

Dear 8th Grade Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

Are you looking for a creative way to tell your graduating student, CONGRATULATIONS? Well - what better way to do so than to place a recognition ad in the yearbook! Seeing your message will bring a smile to their face as they remember your love and support during these important years.

How do I create my Yearbook Ad?

It’s super easy to create a recognition ad for the yearbook. Just log in to www.yearbookordercenter.com and use the code 16808 to access your options to make an ad and to purchase your copy of the yearbook. Ads are available in a variety of sizes and costs. The yearbooks ads are priced out as follows:

Full Page Ad $100.00

Half Page Ad $55.00

Quarter Page Ad $35.00

Yearbook ads are due not later than February 28, 2018 and can be made for students in PreK3 through 8th Grade; but space is limited.

Reserve a space for your ad today to say how proud you are. Like the yearbook, your message will be a permanent memory.

Thanks!

The Yearbook Staff

Baby Photos

posted Oct 25, 2018, 10:46 AM by James Falletti

Attention 8th Grade Class of 2019:

It's that time when the Yearbook Committee starts hounding you for yearbook information. Here are some instructions on how to send me your favorite Baby Photo...

Digital option is the easiest, so if you have a photo of yourself as a baby on the computer, send it to me via email.

If you only have a printed baby photo of yourself, you can either:
  1. Scan it into your computer and send it to me via email
  2.  Take a photo with your smartphone using NO FLASH and Only HDR Settings of your favorite baby photo of yourself. Another words.... you're taking a photo of a photo
Once you selected the photo, be sure to include in the email:
  • your photo
  • your name spelled correctly,
  • your class (8A, 8B),
  • and what did you want to be when you grow up. (firefighter, wizard, ballerina, etc..)
In the Subject Line, please include: Your Name and the words "BABY PHOTO" (For Example ---- James Falletti: Baby Photo). Please see the example below:

I wanted to be a Jedi Master
Aren't I cute :)

I need the photos by Friday, Nov. 2, 2018. Please be prompt with your response and email the requested information to jfalletti@corpuschristischool.net .

Message to the Parents

posted Sep 25, 2018, 2:42 PM by James Falletti

Dear Parents,

I hope that you and your family had a restful and restorative summer. I write this letter of introduction as a new social studies teacher at Corpus Christi School, and also as a fellow parent to two young sons of my own. My door is always open to  students as well as parents, and I very much welcome any questions or conversations that arise during the year.

As we begin a new school year, it is my essential intent to inspire excellence in the classroom as our young scholars will be able to rise above life's daily challenges, and work as a team to do their very best each and every day. Furthermore, students  will be actively engaged in the learning process through Inquiry-based learning and backwards planning. As we embark on this learning adventure together, I look forward to collaborating to make this year a truly memorable experience for all.

I wish you all the best for an enriching and blessed 2018/2019 school year!

Sincerely,

Mr. George Maroules
